Growth and Capability Manager

Description: 

In this role, you will identify and pursue strategic partnerships and growth opportunities for Maya’s service offerings, develop and execute go-to-market strategies targeting SMEs and emerging markets, and build and manage relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and ecosystem partners.

 

What you will do: 

 

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and growth opportunities for Maya’s service offerings.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies targeting SMEs and emerging markets.
  • Build and manage relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and ecosystem partners.
  • Analyze competitive landscape to inform product positioning and sales strategy.

 

Project Development & Management

  • Lead planning and execution of cross-functional projects aligned with Growth Capability's expansion goals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Design scalable processes to support project rollout and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor project KPIs and report performance against objectives.

 

Data Analytics & Insights

  • Gather, analyze, and visualize business and customer data to support decision-making.
  • Create dashboards and reports to track growth metrics, client engagement, and market trends.
  • Apply data-driven insights to refine business strategy and optimize resource allocation.
  • Evaluate project impact using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

 

SME Growth Enablement

  • Understand challenges faced by SMEs and tailor solutions to improve business capability and sustainability.
  • Develop tools and frameworks for assessing and enhancing SME readiness and scalability.
  • Support SMEs in adopting digital solutions and data-driven practices.

 

What you need to succeed:

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or growth strategy, preferably within SMEs, emerging markets, or digital solutions.

  • Proven track record in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and driving revenue growth.

 

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Advanced/Expert proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint (data modeling, financial analysis, stakeholder presentations).

  • Strong data analytics skills with experience in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) to derive insights and track KPIs.

  • Experience in competitive analysis, market research, and customer segmentation to inform strategy.

 

Project & Relationship Management:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging clients, partners, and internal teams to drive collaboration.

  • Experience in designing scalable processes to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.

 

SME & Market Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of SME challenges, digital transformation, and business scalability.

  • Experience in developing frameworks, tools, or training programs to enhance SME capabilities.

  • Knowledge of emerging markets and ability to tailor solutions for diverse business environments.

 

Soft Skills & Leadership:

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (for both internal and external stakeholders).

  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and ability to translate insights into action.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
