The MLE will play a critical role in transforming Maya's customer support with AI. You'll directly contribute to a more efficient, personalized, and delightful customer experience.
NATURE OF WORK
- Scope and spearhead projects to build, evaluate, and deploy LLM-based applications
- Build infrastructure to operationalize Agentic LLM applications in a cost-efficient manner
- Design quality monitoring workflows to assess model performance in production
- Optimize existing deployments by measuring and maximizing relevant metrics while reducing cost in a methodical and data-driven manner.
- Create visualization tools and dashboards to communicate model metrics to stakeholders
- Lessen team workflow friction points by introducing necessary architectural optimizations, services, tooling, or similar initiatives
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related field.
- 2+ years of data science projects, with a focus on customer-centric applications.
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in machine learning, particularly NLP and deep learning techniques for text analysis and chatbot optimization.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with relevant libraries like LangGraph, LangChain, and spaCy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to lead, mentor, and inspire a data science team.
- Experience working with cloud and ML platforms (AWS, Databricks) a plus.
