Senior Product Officer
Overview:
As a Senior Product Officer, you will be responsible for delivering functionalities and capabilities addressing the risk, AML, and fraud components of a product, service or line of business. This role focuses in helping the company identify, combat and reduce the amount of fraud and financial crimes being committed against its customers, businesses, products and services. This also revolves around continuously identifying and going after business and operational improvements through changes to people and organization, processes, tooling, and partners.
What you will do:
- Core Product Management – Platforms ownership and oversight to ensure seamless execution of Risk Tech programs:
- Product Development
- Iteratively ideate, build, test, and monitor product features and capabilities
- Create and manage product features and capability roadmaps
- Act as the ‘Product Champion’ internally, providing support and training to necessary proponents
- Integrate customer feedback into design and enhancements
- Product Management and Delivery
- Provide thought leadership on product short and mid-term direction and prioritization
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvements
- Execute programs across applicable delivery platforms in coordination with software delivery teams and platform managers
- Work with third parties where appropriate to ensure long-term success of product
- Documentation – Ensure current capabilities and changes are properly documented via Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and Service Memos.
- Product Development
- Risk Analysis – Conduct product risk assessments to identify, assess and mitigate potential risks that could affect the company’s operations, finances or reputation.
- Data Analytics – Leverage data insights to drive product strategy, development and performance:
- Identify opportunities for control and process improvements, including revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Monitor the performance of your product portfolio by tracking revenue, expenses, and profitability.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years overall working experience
- At least 1-2 years of work experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Program Manager, or equivalent role required
- At least 1-2 years of experience working in fintech and banking, with a portfolio of product and release features that demonstrate well-crafted customer experiences
- Proven track record of successfully launching solutions that integrate existing offerings for digital banking and payment solutions
- Proficiency of AGILE development methodologies
- Working knowledge of banking processes and systems
- Experience working as part of an Agile team
