Description: 

As an iOS Mobile App Engineer, you will be responsible for developing quality standard iOS applications. As part of the Base App Team, duties also include but not limited to creation of technical documents, setting standards on iOS (development, release, etc) processes, assessment on different tools related to iOS, maintaining and making sure performance and correctness of the app is met thru various unit tests and benchmarkings, continuous integration initiatives, and many more.

 

NATURE OF WORK

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor iOS applications

  • Identify and create reusable iOS modules and packages

  • Ensure at least 90% unit test coverage on view models

  • Ensure 100% free from critical code smells and vulnerabilities

  • Ensure at least 99% crash free rate on iOS applications

  • Enforce standard security measures on iOS applications

  • Technical documentations as needed

  • Help in standardizing iOS processes and assessing tools

  • Contribute in designing solutions and implementation of Product Engineering standards and processes 

  • Support other teams with inquiries regarding iOS in general as member of core base app team

  • Coordination with different teams as needed

  • Active and insightful participation on scrum activities

  • Familiarization with CI/CD

  • Conduct tech sharing to enhance skills

  • Various housekeeping activities such as onboarding, fixing of warnings, updating code to new standards, and many more

 

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably on native iOS development

  • Strong knowledge on Swift Programming Language

  • Experience in doing Reactive (RX) Programming

  • Knowledgeable in using Core Data

  • Familiarity with MVVM and Coordinator pattern

  • Expert in doing Unit Tests

  • Agile / Scrum / GIT experience

  • Done integrations with Cocoapods and Swift Package Manager

  • Experience in app distribution (TestFlight and Store releases)

Additional Experience

  • Experience in managing Provisioning Profiles and Certificates

  • Fastlane or any CI/CD (continuous integration) experience

  • UIAutomation or any automation cross-platform framework experience

  • Profiling, Debugging and Xcode Instruments experience

  • Experience in creating Swift Module or Swift SDK

  • Familiarity with different Firebase tools and its utilizations

  • Tried doing Modularization or working on mesh setup

  • Any experience on Android or Flutter development

  • Integrations on any notable iOS useful third-party libraries
