Overview:
The Visual Experience Designer has an industry-leading background in visual design and a passion for enhancing user experiences. You’ll be responsible for taking our visual identity to the next level, improving our overall visual storytelling and strengthening our brand identity across our ecosystem’s digital touchpoints. This includes the experiences for both our consumers as well as our merchants. You’ll be working closely with our product designers, product managers, engineers, growth and marketing experts to create visually stunning products that people will fall in love with.
You must have at least 5 years’ experience in visual experience design. You must have a broad skillset as a visual designer where you’re able to set new visual directions from scratch, create different visual concepts and style guides, and from there able to produce a coherent set of assets across various platforms, including (but not limited to) 2D and 3D illustrations, icons, motion and other visual assets.
What you will do:

Develop visual design languages and style guides

Create and maintain visual identities to align with the brand’s value and messaging

Ensure designs enhance the overall user experience and strengthen our storytelling

Ensure consistency in visual elements across various platforms

Conduct visual research to identify emerging trends, tools, tech and user mindsets

Design icons, illustrations, and other visual assets
-
Test and incorporate feedback into design iterations

Communicate visual ideas and concepts to team members and stakeholders effectively

Work closely with product designers, product managers, engineers and other stakeholders

Experiment with new design techniques to improve user engagement and experience

Grow the team’s overall visual skills and experience
What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication design, motion design, visual arts or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Proven experience of at least 5 years as a visual designer or similar role in designing for digital products, apps and services. Familiarity with motion design is preferred.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, particularly digital interfaces

Experience in designing for cross platform (mobile, web, tablet, etc.), responsive and mobile-first design

Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality designs

Experience in launching large scale products

Experience in implementing design systems

Track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary UX and/or product teams on technical implementation

Fluency with visual storytelling and other communication tools that enable persuasive communicate findings to a non-technical audience

Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Familiarity with video editing is a plus
-
Experience in digital banking, cryptocurrencies, investment or financial services is a plus
IMPORTANT NOTE: We value critical thinking as well as your own views on visual design. Thus, you must provide a portfolio with case studies that can highlight who you are as a designer, how you think and work, and your skills. Portfolios that only include screenshots of the final output will not be considered.
