Area Business Lead (Palawan)

What you will be doing:
- Generate leads, close accounts, maintain relationships for Maya business
- Identify and onboard new merchants (retail, e-commerce, POS, etc.) for acquiring services.
- Promote and sell payment acceptance solutions (POS terminals, QR code, payment gateway, etc.).
- Negotiate terms and agreements with merchants.
- Conduct due diligence and KYC documentation.
- Monitor merchant activity and performance (transaction volume, chargebacks, etc.).
- Maintain strong post-sale merchant relationships.
- Liaise with internal teams (operations, risk, legal, IT) to ensure seamless merchant integration and support.
- Track market trends and competitor offerings.
- Able to effectively communicate, pitch and manage projects concepts with potential partners that lead up to actual implementations that will yield agreed goals and objectives.
- Organize and plan projects in a timely & efficient manner.
- Work within a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Have sales and or sales management experience for at least 2-5 years with related industries;
- With work experience in any of the following fields - banking industry, FMCG, financial technology, telco or e-commerce;
- Field Sales experience
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong skills in merchant relationship management, after-sales service, and dispute handling.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (risk, operations, legal, IT) to support merchant needs.
