- High learning agility – person is able to learn fast from tasks and be able to pivot to new set of approaches given that products and concepts deviate from the traditional merchant acquiring / acceptance business.
- Bank, FMCG, Fintech, Retail experience in the field of sales, sales management, operations and project management.
- Nice to have banking experience with min 2 years selling bank products to SMEs or consumers such loans, business deposits, disbursement, payment and acceptance etc.
- Good listening and communication (oral / written) skills – can identify customer pain points, provide and simplify needed and available solutions;
- Multi-tasker.
What you will be doing:
- Generate leads, close accounts, maintain relationships for Maya business.
- Able to effectively communicate, pitch and manage projects concepts with potential partners that lead up to actual implementations that will yield agreed goals and objectives.
- Implement partnerships programs that will help meet short and long term goals of Maya (acceptance, acquisition and visibility).
- Implement insights-led and data-driven partnerships and programs that will support key objectives of Maya.
- Organize and plan projects in a timely & efficient manner.
- Work within a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Evaluate Impact of trade marketing programs to measure effectiveness.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree Holder of any Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Business, Financial Institution Management or any related course.
- Must have sales and marketing experience of at least 5 years.
- With work experience in any of the following fields - banking industry, fmcg, financial technology, telco or ecommerce.
- With solid field sales experience.
- Have sales and or sales management experience for at least 5 years with related industries.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
