Business Data Analyst

Overview:

As Business Data Analyst, you will use your analytical and statistical skills in managing data and solving complex business problems of the Consumer Business. You will drive optimum business outcomes by working closely with stakeholders to understand their business goals and leverage data to drive recommendations and solutions in achieving business targets.

What you will do:

• Use appropriate statistical techniques and methodology to address identified business problems.
• Interpret data and provide valuable insights to identify opportunities for both internal and external clients. Create integrated 360 customer views to drive data driven consumer business decisions from acquisition to engagement and retention.
• Utilizing both internal and external data, provide insights and comparative studies considering where the competition stands and suggest directional views identifying market opportunities.
• Engage in the end-to-end lifecycle of data analytics from problem identification, technical design, implementation of requirements, data gathering, analysis, data visualization and story telling.
• Ensure high quality and accuracy of results.
• Coordinate with data engineers to drive data collection and ensure business requirements are addressed.
• Provide general leadership, guidance and support to relative team members in order to collaborate, give feedback, develop plans and reach team and individual goals.

What we are looking for:

• Must be a graduate of BS Math/Statistics/Data Science or related programs
• Must have at least 4 years of relevant work experience preferably in a Lending business
• Knowledgeable in Tableau or similar data visualisation software
• Advanced knowledge in statistical tools and techniques
• Proficient in using statistical programming languages such as R, Python, NumPy, MatLab and database querying language such as SQL
• Strong Communication Skills
