Credit Strategy Manager

What you will be doing:
- Own and drive end-to-end credit strategy across products (Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Credit Line, SME / Merchant Lending).
- Design and align enterprise-wide credit frameworks, guardrails, and decision principles covering acquisition, limits, pricing, portfolio actions, and collections.
- Assess macro-economic conditions (inflation, interest rates, employment, consumer stress indicators) and translate them into portfolio-level credit actions such as tightening/relaxing criteria, limit recalibration, and risk segmentation.
- Partner with Product and Data Science teams to design, test, and scale credit strategies using internal, bureau, and alternative data.
- Lead cross-product portfolio analyses, vintages, early delinquency, utilization, limit behavior, and profitability and translate insights into actions.
- Drive champion challenger experiments, test governance, KPIs, and post-implementation reviews.
What we are looking for:
- 8+ years of experience in credit risk, portfolio management, analytics, or credit strategy in a bank or fintech.
- Strong understanding of the consumer lending lifecycle from acquisition through collections.
- Good understanding of macro-economic environments and their impact on consumer and SME credit performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-structuring skills, with the ability to interpret insights and guide data-driven decisions (without hands-on coding).
- Experience using bureau data, alternative data, scorecards, and decision engines to drive outcomes.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and bring clarity across multiple products and stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Bias for execution, experimentation, and continuous improvement in fast-moving environments.
