•    Support the company  Data Governance Program, operation model and processes
•    Help create company wide data management standards and practices
•    Be point of contact for questions about the definition and use of data within its areas
•    Make sure that the data policies and data standards are adhered to
•    Maintain documentation of data in the Business Glossary and Logical Data Dictionary
•    Maintain the Data Catalog for the company
•    Work with Data Owners and define critical data elements, business terms, dependencies and hierarchies to drive common semantics across the company
•    Collaborate and provides support to Data Science, Analytics, Data Owners and other corporate functions on various data management processes
•    Implement mapping between corporate business glossary and data management systems
•    Enable proactive data quality and data certification process
•    Promote and support a searchable data catalog that includes lineage to source systems
•    Partner with Legal, Information Security, Audit and HR to ensure compliance and security of data
•    Promote, evangelize and train the Data Governance Program and related Data Management Policies / Processes throughout the company

DISPLAYED SKILL MASTERY
•    Business process – understand requirements and determine impact on the data asset.
•    Data modelling and data architecture – building a roadmap and target architecture.
•    Technical skills – database/warehouse design, build and management

EXPECTED RESULTS   
•    Establish Data Stewards per business unit
•    Protect the needs of Data Stewards by having a Data Governance Committee meeting once a month
•    Ensure up to 90% of processes creation using defined standards
•    Data Quality Assessments: ensure monthly DQA
•    Business Glossary: ensure up to _% of active users  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  
•    Bachelor's degree or higher
•    Experience with running Data Governance Program
•    Solid understanding of Data Management practices including Reference and Master Data Management, Metadata management and data quality management
•    Knowledge of data architecture, data security management, data integration, and data life cycle management
•    Exposure to data warehousing, business intelligence, and advance analytics management
•    Data Catalog development experience
•    Data Quality and ETL tools experience
•    Solid SQL, data modeling, database development and administration
•    Ability to build trusted relationships with individuals, strong presentation and facilitation skills
•    Excellent and effective communication to the stakeholders and drive execution across the company
•    Big Data experience with privacy compliance, and data classification
•    Experience with Collibra and Talend is a plus
•    Knowledge in Financial Industry is a big plus
