CORE PROFILE

The SAP FICO Functional Consultant will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules within SAP S/4HANA environments. Their role bridges business finance processes and technical SAP solutions.

 

NATURE OF WORK

  • Primary responsible in SAP S/4 HANA FICO enhancement and support work. Ensures timelines are met across all SAP S/4 HANA FICO deliverables that include technical work on:Business Analysis
    1. Functional Analysis and Design
    2. Systems Integration Testing
    3. Change Management
    4. Handling of CRs/SRs
  • Ensure IT governance processes and policies are followed and proper documentations are prepared.

  • Proficient in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
  • Financial Accounting

  • SAP FICO Configuration Skills
  • Business Process and integration points to other modules.
  • Strong project management skills to ensure on-time deliver on projects
  • Effective communication skills to translate technical items in business terms and deliver updates to key stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Flexible in learning new skillsets and ability to cope with new technology trends
  • Self-driven, independent, and willing to go the extra mile

 

EXPECTED RESULTS

  • Drive solutions that ensureS process improvements across the organization
  • Perform SME functions such as:
  • Troubleshooting and solving system-related issues that hinder business operations
  • Management of system implementation and enhancements
  • Providing training and support to key business user
  • Prepare functional documentations, configuration documents, test documents and user guides
  • Propose system and process improvements.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Accounting or Business Administration.
  • 2-5 years working experience in SAP ERP system (SAP ECC 6.0 or S/4 HANA)
  • Solid experience in SAP FICO project implementation, with at least 2-3 full cycle implementation experience.
  • Good understanding of the core end-to-end business processes for Record to Report (FI and CO) and Cash and Liquidity Management (FI and CO – _Treasury Functions)
  • Knowledge on Anaplan Model Building and Administration
  • Familiarity with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation)
  • Working knowledge of SAP Concur Expense and Invoice modules
  • Experience in SAP accounting integrations, including file-based and SAP Cloud Platform.
