Description: 

 

Core Profile: The Financial Operations Specialist has deep knowledge in settlement and reconciliation process and systems of a fintech and digital banking transactions. They are excellent in preparing reconciliation reports and documentations.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of all Maya Group financial transactions, ensuring that they align with the internal systems, bank statements and partners’ reports.
  • Reconcile money movements, payments received and settlements to partners.
  • Compare transaction data from different sources such as bank statements, partner reports, CMS, and SAP to identify discrepancies and variances.
  • Prepare reconciliation reports, communicate, and track variances, investigate the root causes, and resolve them within the set SLA.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Technology, Product, and Customer Support) to address and resolve transaction discrepancies or any issues related to reconciliation.
  • Actively participate in process improvements and develop monitoring dashboards that immediately identify and provide alerts for inconsistencies in trends.
  • Participate in UAT for new product developments and system enhancements, ensuring that new systems or updates function properly and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Provide feedback on system functionalities and suggest improvements to enhance reconciliation accuracy.
  • Assist in the implementation of automation tools and systems to reduce manual efforts and improve the overall reconciliation process.
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • With at least 2+ years of experience in financial settlements within banking, payments, or fintech, with knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • With strong and solid experience in Settlement and Reconciliations.
  • With good oral and written communication skills.
  • With a high sense of responsibility and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent in MS office/MS Excel applications.
  • Knowledge in SAP is an advantage.
