ICAAP and Recovery Plan Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Risk Management team as an ICAAP & Recovery Plan Specialist. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness of our Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and developing and maintaining effective recovery plans. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, conducting stress testing, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure our capital allocation is aligned with our risk profile and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
• ICAAP:
◦ Develop and maintain the ICAAP framework, including risk identification, quantification, and capital allocation methodologies.
◦ Conduct stress testing exercises to assess the impact of potential risks on capital adequacy.
◦ Prepare ICAAP reports for regulatory submission and internal stakeholder communication.
◦ Monitor and update the ICAAP framework in line with regulatory changes and internal risk assessments.
• Recovery Planning:
◦ Develop and maintain recovery plans for critical business functions and operations.
◦ Identify and analyze potential disruptions and their impact on the organization.
◦ Define recovery strategies, resources, and communication protocols to ensure business continuity.
◦ Test and update recovery plans regularly to ensure their effectiveness.
• Data Analysis:
◦ Analyze financial data, including capital ratios, liquidity metrics, and risk exposure.
◦ Develop and utilize financial models to support stress testing and capital allocation decisions.
◦ Prepare reports and presentations to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders.
• Collaboration:
◦ Work closely with Risk Management, Finance, and other business units to gather information, assess risks, and develop solutions.
◦ Present findings and recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies.
◦ Stay informed about regulatory developments and best practices in ICAAP and recovery planning.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, preferably with a Master's degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in risk management, financial analysis, or related field.
• Strong understanding of ICAAP principles and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with stress testing methodologies and financial modeling techniques.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and financial software (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel).
