Implementation Specialist

Overview:

As an Implementation Specialist at Maya, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful onboarding and integration of our payment solutions for clients. The candidate work closely with clients, sales teams, and technical support to deliver seamless payment processing experiences.

What you will do:

• Serve as the solution consultant for our merchants during the pre-sales phase with Maya, ensuring that the product/solutions offered fit to their requirements.
• Work closely with the merchant and the Sales teams to guarantee a high-quality project delivery; and coordinate internally the requirements of the partner with internal teams (DevRel, Fulfillment, Product, etc.). 
• Be the key resource of knowledge in advising merchants on Maya solutions and APIs, integration methods, and best practices. 

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience in a solutions implementations or  project management in software or financial services.
• More than 3 years of experience in implementing payment solutions, including Point of Sale (POS) systems, e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and disbursements platforms.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDK's, etc.), and desire to improve technical acumen.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Knowledge of payment processing, card networks, and financial industry regulations (e.g., PCI DSS) is a plus.
