Enterprise Application Developer

CORE PROFILE
The Enterprise Application Developer will play a crucial role in developing, configuring and maintaining platform solutions for key Enterprise Systems, including but not limited to Atlassian (Jira and Confluence) and Microsoft. This role involves a combination of technical implementation, administrative support, process development, governance and user support to ensure the optimal performance and cost-efficiency of these platforms.  


NATURE OF WORK

Platform Solutions Development and Implementation 

  • Atlassian (Jira and Confluence): Design, deploy, and manage Atlassian cloud-based products to fulfill user requirements across the enterprise. Work closely with Atlassian vendor in managing and supporting the Atlassian account of the company.
  • Microsoft: Perform routine administrative tasks to maintain the health and performance of the platform including governing user-access processes, license planning and allocation, and coordinating / troubleshooting incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform solutions with business needs and objectives

 

Administrative Support 

  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal system functionality. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and reduce maintenance costs

 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices for platform management. 
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance platform capabilities and reduce operational costs. 
  • Provide recommendations for system upgrades and enhancements based on industry trends and emerging technologies. 

 

Governance 

  • Ensure security policies are enforced, implemented and up to date. 
  • Initiate activities designed to improve governance and compliance of Enterprise Systems. 

 

User Support 

  • Provide level 1 and 2 support to address user queries and concerns related to the platforms. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption to business operations. 
  • Conduct user training and provide guidance on best practices for using the platforms effectively.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Information Technology or any related field
  • 5 years experience in process automation design and development, preferably, in Finance and Banking industry
  • Primary tool: Atlassian platform e.g. Jira, Confluence, JSM, JPD, etc.
  • Secondary tool: Microsoft platform e.g. Microsoft Admin Center
  • Experience in integrations with core banking systems and enterprise applications
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative SDLC’s environment
