Manager

This role responsible for overseeing the accurate and efficient reconciliation of transactions across various Maya products, such as payments, digital wallet, crypto exchanges, remittances and bank products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Financial Operations Head in managing and guiding the Financial Operations team to ensure efficient and effective reconciliation process.
• Design and implement reconciliation templates, procedures, and workflows to maintain consistency and accuracy across all Maya transactions.
• Perform/participate in the UAT for new product development and system enhancement to ensure system integrity at all points, identify any potential issues and validate functionality.
• Review and monitor daily reconciliation activities conducted by the team, ensuring accuracy and alignment with established procedures.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, and other teams to investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions, addressing root causes effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 5-7 years of experience in financial operations or accounting, with a focus on transaction reconciliation within the fintech, banking or related industry
• Expert in managing digital transaction reconciliation processes and understanding fintech payment systems
• Has experience in managing a team
• Effective communicator
• Knowledge in SAP and MS office applications is an advantage
