TECHNICAL OPERATIONS ENGINEER 

CORE PROFILE

The technical operations engineer is tasked to monitor, maintain & support the various system & services of Maya. The engineer is expected to detect incidents & resolve incidents with the least amount of time. The engineer should be able to communicate effectively with internal & external customers. The engineer should be able to help improve the process & handling by way of automation & software development.

NATURE OF WORK

• 24x7 service & infrastructure monitoring & support
• Troubleshoot and resolve system & service fault
• Incident / Problem management, Request fulfillment & application support
• Client / partner coordination for support & troubleshooting
• Internal collaboration for analysis & troubleshooting
• System change analysis & monitoring
• Ensure maximum uptime of products and services
• Automate incident detection, handling & tasks
• Maintain & operate a backup system
• User Access Management
• Analyze & correlate data through adhoc search & query

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
• Experience in Linux & Windows OS Administration
• Excellent scripting skills: Perl, Bash
• Experience with Splunk search & development is an advantage
• Experience in AWS administration is an advantage
• Knowledge in ITIL v3 is an advantage
• Experience in SQL & other database language is an advantage
• Certification on the ff is an advantage:
  • ITIL v3 
  • PCIDSS
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Security+
  • Six Sigma Yello belt
