What you will do:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of risk management frameworks specific to credit card portfolios, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Perform regular analysis of credit card portfolio data to assess risk metrics, monitor performance trends, and identify potential areas of concern.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques to understand credit card customer behavior, credit risk, and portfolio dynamics.
- Prepare and present reports summarizing key findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk management, compliance, and finance to ensure alignment on risk strategy and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of policies and procedures related to credit card risk management and regulatory requirements.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in risk analytics within consumer credit, preferably with exposure to credit card portfolios
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Understanding of credit risk concepts and methodologies, including basic knowledge of credit scoring models and risk metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information effectively to stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Understanding of credit risk modeling techniques, including scorecard development, stress testing, and portfolio optimization, is a plus
