Product Specialist (KYC/User Profiles)
Overview:
As a Product Specialist, you'll be assisting the lead of Core Platforms – User Profiles by contributing to Maya’s product strategy and execution of roadmaps toward the goals of the User Profiles Mesh. Through the use of your intermediate product management and ownership skills, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our features and products meet the needs of our customers, align with consumer business goals and ensure Maya’s compliance with regulators. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and a hands-on AGILE approach towards the product development lifecycle (PDLC).
What you will do:
- Oversee a range of Onboarding and Identity Verification customer journeys:
- KYC – Constantly improve the conversion rate, UX, automation and compliance of the KYC Process
- User Profile Support – Manage the integration of Maya’s customer profile management platforms with other products and platforms within Maya
- Documentation – Ensure current capabilities and changes are properly documented via Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and Service Memos.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis within the Philippines FinTech Sector, staying attuned to industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities. Use this knowledge to determine key product strategies.
- Champion user-centered design principles, ensuring that products are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure products adhere to relevant regulations and security standards set by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and other regulators.
- Leverage data analytics and customer insights to drive product enhancements, optimize user experiences, and maximize revenue.
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product development, marketing, and customer engagement.
- Monitor the financial performance of your product portfolio, tracking revenue, expenses, and profitability. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in product management or a related role within the financial technology industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing consumer-based financial technology products.
- Proficiency of AGILE development methodologies.
- Preferably with an understanding of financial services operations, regulations, and industry-specific challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. (familiarity with SQL is a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
