CORE PROFILE
The Senior Data Protection Engineer/Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Data Privacy Program within the organization.
NATURE OF WORK
Performs the following to the assigned business units:
- Work alongside the Data Privacy team in the implementation of the company’s Privacy Management Program.
- Support the conduct of privacy impact and vendor risk assessments.
- Contribute to the operationalization of privacy and data protection policies and standards.
- Work on addressing privacy alerts and issues in collaboration with the team.
- Collaborate with various product and business groups across the company, providing support and advice on privacy and security requirements.
- Collaborate with the Data Privacy team in setting the appropriate policies and procedures in terms of data privacy and protection.
- Aids the team in partnering with business, legal, and technical teams to ensure privacy is treated appropriately.
- Support the team in its privacy awareness efforts.

- Data Protection Laws & Standards (Ph DPA of 2012, GDPR, ISO 27701, etc.)
- Privacy Risk Management
- Project Management
- Ability to comprehend and operationalize legal opinions and regulations
- Basic Information Security Knowledge

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- 2 years experience in the field of data privacy or information security
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- BS or equivalent degree in CS, IT, IS or equivalent fields
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- CIPP/E or CIPP/A
- CIPM or CIPT
- DPO ACE
- Any Information Security Certification
