Core Profile

A Senior Software Engineer responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing payment, settlement, reconciliation, and integration platforms. The role independently leads technical initiatives, drives engineering excellence, collaborates across cross-functional teams, and leverages AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve software delivery and quality.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support backend services and payment platforms.
  • Deliver secure, scalable, fault-tolerant, and compliant solutions aligned with business and platform requirements
  • Lead medium to large engineering initiatives, manage technical dependencies, and collaborate with Product, Business, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams.
  • Build integrations with payment channels, settlement systems, financial platforms, and enterprise services.
  • Drive software quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize approved AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance productivity, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while maintaining security and quality standards.

 

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical systems.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, JVM-based technologies, OR TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and Kafka or similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

  • Successfully lead technical initiatives from design through production support.
  • Maintain high software quality through automation, testing, and engineering best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, audit, and operational standards.
