Trade Marketing Specialist
Overview: Lead and execute diverse Trade Assurance initiatives in alignment with team objectives and targets, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and consumer activity management for Maya’s digital wallet and products. Foster cross-functional collaboration by building strong partnerships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and third-party agencies to strengthen trade and consumer initiatives. Drive strategic on-ground initiatives to expand consumer credit card adoption, accelerate digital wallet usage, and enhance engagement with Maya’s full suite of digital payment solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate trade, consumer activity management, digital payment, and brand activation strategies, maximizing overall brand presence, consumer acquisition, and long-term engagement.
What you will be doing:
- The Trade Marketing Specialist will assist the Trade Assurance Manager in maintaining the partnership with 3PA and internal stakeholders such as Consumer, Maya Bank, and Enterprise teams.
- Brand Ambassador & Stakeholder Collaboration: Expert in maintaining and strengthening partnerships with third-party agencies (3PA) and internal teams such as Consumer Banking, Maya Bank, Enterprise, and Micro SME divisions to ensure seamless execution of trade programs.
- Data-Driven Reporting & Analysis: Skilled in crafting comprehensive reports, including call summaries, analytics dashboards, and impactful presentations to support strategic decision-making.
- Productivity & Performance Monitoring: Adept at periodically assessing team productivity, setting performance benchmarks, and providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experienced in coordinating with various internal units to facilitate smooth field sales operations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Issue Resolution & Process Optimization: Capable of streamlining processes, addressing escalations, and resolving concerns promptly through effective channel management.
- Policy & Communication: Effective in cascading policy updates and new directives to ensure team compliance and alignment with organizational standards.
- Team & Performance Management: Overseeing team performance against targets, implementing strategies to meet objectives, and conducting regular alignment meetings with internal and third-party partners.
- Consumer Banking & Payment Solutions: Deep understanding of consumer banking products such as credit cards and digital wallets, and expertise in promoting their adoption through trade initiatives and customer engagement.
What we are looking for:
- BSBA, Marketing or Management Graduate is a preference or related courses.
- With at least 3 yrs of Sales, Trade or Marketing experience.
- With work experience in any of the following fields - banking industry, financial industry, telco or ecommerce leading the development and implementation of loyalty or usage programs.
- With good project/campaign management experience.
